FAQs: Most common questions about our Alaska Winter Tours

Yes, all of our trips are led by an experienced guide to keep you safe in the Alaskan backcountry. The guide will be in their own machine and you will follow behind.

No, all passengers must be at least 42 inches tall. No booster seats or car seats.

- All drivers must be over 21 years old with a valid driver’s license. International driver’s license is okay as long as it has an English translation.

- UTV passengers must be over 42 inches tall, usually 3-4 years old.

- Snowmobile passengers must be over 14 years or older.

We have a 72 hour non-refundable cancellation/rescheduling policy. Outside of that time you can cancel or reschedule with no penalty. We offer an optional $25 USD cancellation insurance on the checkout page which allows you to cancel or reschedule up to 12 hours in advance.

NO LAST MINUTE CANCELLATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

Refunds can take up to 10 business days for it to reflect on your bank statement.

Each UTV can handle 700 lbs total. This looks like a maximum of 4 adults and 2 children. Please note the middle seats in our machines are very small and not suitable for adults.

For snowmobiles we can accommodate 1 driver and 1 passenger per sled with a maximum combined weight of 350lbs

No experience necessary for our tours however some experience is recommended for the full-day intermediate/advanced powder sled tour. We will teach you everything you need to know.

For our UTV tours just yourselves! Our machines are heated and enclosed so you don't need to wear full ski gear but warm clothes and good boots to walk around in the snow are great. We provide DOT helmets for all tours. For snowmobiling dress like you're going skiing. Think warm gloves, goggles, snow pants, and a jacket.

Yes you can! All rentals are complementary besides face coverings due to hygiene reasons. Face coverings are available for purchase for $15 each. We can fully outfit you for snowmobile tours if needed but bring what you have.

Yes, the machine you reserve is all yours. You will be responsible for driving it and following instructions from our professional guides. Anything outside of the scope of the tour you will be responsible for. See damage policy.

Nope, we never combine multiple groups in the same machine. That doesn't mean you’ll be the only ones on the trip. Other groups will likely be on the tour with you however we do offer Private tours for an additional $600 USD per group if you want to guarantee having a private guide.

Sure can, just make separate bookings for UTVs and Snowmobiles for the same day and same time under the same name and everyone can go together.

Determine the number of machines you will need for your booking based on the number of people in your group. Choose your tour and select BOOK NOW. We also take reservations over the phone: 907-250-5419
